Fernandina Beach is located on Amelia Island, Florida, 40 kilometers (24 mi) from downtown Jacksonville.

In this destination you can visit the Fernandina Little Theater, where different classics, comedies, and musicals are presented. Another option is the Amelia Island Museum of History, which is the first spoken museum in Florida. 

One of the most significative attractions of this city is Fort Clinch State Park, a 19th-century park among the best preserved. You can do several activities within this park, such as sunbathing and swimming at the beach, as well as cycling, fishing, kayaking, wild life watching, hiking, and even camping. The park features some events, such as Civil War re-enactments on the first weekend of every month, from January to November, the Story of the American Soldier in November, and Camping Day in December.
