About Gaspe, Canada

The city of Gaspé is located in the tip of the Gaspé peninsula, in the region Gaspésie-Iles-de-la-Madeleine in the east of Quebec, Canada. Its first inhabitants were the Micmac tribe. In 1534, Jacques Cartier arrived to the port, marking the arrival of the French to North America.
