The property features eight towers built among the treetops and over the river, connected by 5 kilometers (3 mi) of elevated bridges. The hotel can be accessed by ship or helicopter and it was inspired by Jacques Cousteau. Ariau Amazon Towers is 20 kilometers (12 mi) from the Anavilhanas archipelago, the largest freshwater archipelago in the world. Eduardo Gomes International Airport (MAO) is 75 kilometers (45 mi) away. This hotel has 268 guest rooms, suites, and tree houses equipped with air conditioning, private bath with shower, mini-refrigerator, pedestal fan, and balcony. Ariau Amazon Towers features two heliports, a pool, four bars, plus two restaurants serving regional and international cuisine.
