Bahia Principe Grand Coba is an all-inclusive family hotel within a beachfront resort in Akumal. This property houses two pools, a children´s water park, jacuzzis, a fitness center, a children´s club, a spa with a variety of cosmetic treatments, and a variety of restaurants and bars, including four 24-hour snack bars. For recreation, the hotel offers water sports, land sports, a daily activities program, and night shows. The hotel also provides WiFi in all areas. The 1,080 suites at the hotel are distributed in 30 3-floor villas. Each accommodation is fitted with air conditioning, satellite TV, in-room safe, minibar restocked daily, and balcony or terrace overlooking the garden or the pool. The property has six pools and a shopping and entertainment center called Hacienda Doña Isabel, which also houses a bar, a nightclub, and stores, and offers daytime activities. The resort is 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) from Xel-Há Park and 21 kilometers (13 mi) from the Archaeological Site of Tulum. The famous Xcaret Park and Playa del Carmen are 36 and 43 kilometers (22.4 and 26.7 mi) away, respectively. Cancún International Airport (CUN) is 99 kilometers (61.5 mi) from the hotel. ***The local government has a mandatory tax of $1.50 USD per room, per night, payable directly to the hotel in Mexican pesos or with a credit or debit card. ***Resort guests can dine at the specialty restaurants 1 time for stays of 3 nights, 2 times for stays of 5 nights, and 3 times for stays of 7 nights.
