Glamping La Cepa is located in the zone of El Peñol in Guatapé. The hotel features a unique glamping design and rooms in Colombia, offering far-west style accommodation with carts immersed in the Guatapé reservoir for an amazing experience. The carts offer a space of about 150 square meters and are ideal gor a romantic getaway or a trip with family or friends. Each room has a minibar, in-room safe, private terrace, bathroom, open-air shower, jacuzzi, and a private grill area. The property is 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from the Historic Museum of El Peñol, a cultural venue dedicated to diffusion and preservation of the local and Colombian heritage, and 8 kilometers (5 mi) from Réplica del Viejo Peñol, a theme park that shows how the old town flooded from 1971 to 1978.
