Nômade Holbox is an adult-only beachfront hotel located on the island of Holbox that offers 30 guest rooms built with local materials, some of them with natural roofs and natural canvas walls, and equipped with custom furniture, air conditioning, bathrobes, WiFi, and in-room safe. Moon temple guest rooms have a private courtyard with a copper bathtub and an outdoor bathroom wrapped by white sands and lush vegetation; oceanfront rooms have an outdoor sitting area with a stone bathtub; while the Treehouse suite is located at a height of 7 meters (23 ft), thus offering 360-degree views of tropics and sky. This oceanfront holistic hotel offers a weekly activities program designed to rebalance the nervous system with water-inspired rituals such as yoga classes on the terrace over the sea, activations of the pineal gland at sunset, sound sessions, swimming lessons, and private wataflow sessions. Facilities include a restaurant that uses fresh local products. The property is 1 kilometer (0.6 mi) from Punta Coco Beach, 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) from the ferry pier, and 170 kilometers (105.7 mi) from Cancún International Airport (CUN). ***The local government has a mandatory tax of $26.06 MXN or $1.40 USD per room, per night, payable directly to the hotel. ***Holbox Island has only one ATM and most shops do not accept credit or debit cards. We recommend bringing enough cash. ***Before your trip, please check directly with the national government the entry and stay requirements of the country you are visiting.
