Riu Yucatán - All Inclusive is a hacienda-style beach hotel surrounded by 40,000 square meters (430,556 sq ft) of gardens, in front of the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean Sea. The property is part of a resort within the area of Playacar, in Playa del Carmen. The entrance to Playa del Carmen Golf Course is 1 kilometer (0.6 mi) away, Quinta Avenida is 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from the hotel, and Xcaret is 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) from the property. The Archaeological Site of Tulum is 61 kilometers (37.9 mi) to the south and Cancún International Airport (CUN) is at the same distance, to the north. This hotel in Playa del Carmen comprises three buildings with 507 guest rooms and junior suites with balcony or terrace. All accommodations have ceiling fan, air conditioning, minibar, liquor dispenser, flat-screen TV, alarm clock radio, in-room safe, and wireless internet access. The suites have a sitting area, two TVs, and a tub in the bathroom. The hotel features three pools, one with an attached Jacuzzi, and a children´s pool with slides. The hotel has equipment and facilities to practice water and land sports, including tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, and offers a complimentary diving lesson in the pool. This hotel has a children´s club, and a daily activities program for adults. There are several bars and restaurants in the property and the sister hotels, which serve international or themed buffets and different specialties.
