Tesoro Ixtapa Beach Resort is a beachfront family hotel on El Palmar Bay in Ixtapa. The hotel is facing the Mexican waters of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range, 1 kilometer (0.6 mi) from the Marina Ixtapa Golf Club, 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) from Zihuatanejo, and 21 kilometers (13 mi) from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH). The property has 206 guest rooms available with an all-inclusive plan and villas with optional all-inclusive plan or only accommodation. Rooms are decorated in Mexican traditional style and equipped with air conditioning, minibar, in-room safe, cable TV, alarm clock radio, and telephone. You can taste delicious Italian dishes in El Mesón, the restaurant at the hotel, and domestic house beverages in its bars. Facilities at the hotel include a pool with a shallow area for children, a children's club where the youngest members of the family can join games, contests, and even turtle releasing. There is also an entertainment program with multiple activities, such as beach and pool sports, Spanish and dance lessons, bingo, and karaoke. This beachfront hotel has a meeting room to accommodate up to 220 guests, as well as weddings in front of the sea or in the gardens illuminated with candles and torches. For an extra charge, at the property you have access to a gift shop, a tour desk, WiFi, and premium beverages, among others.
