Riu Yucatán - All Inclusive is a hacienda-style beach hotel surrounded by 40,000 square meters (430,556 sq ft) of gardens, in front of the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean Sea. The property is part of a resort within the area of Playacar, in Playa del Carmen. The entrance to Playa del Carmen Golf Course is 1 kilometer (0.6 mi) away, Quinta Avenida is 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from the hotel, and Xcaret is 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) from the property. The Archaeological Site of Tulum is 61 kilometers (37.9 mi) to the south and Cancún International Airport (CUN) is at the same distance, to the north.
