Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, Spa & Nature Park is an all-inclusive family hotel facing the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, in the Riviera Maya. This hotel is within the Tres Ríos Natural Park, with an extension of 132 hectares (326 acres), in an area with sinkholes and a number of species of animals and plants. The resort is 13 kilometers (8 mi) from Playa del Carmen, 21 kilometers (13 mi) from Xcaret, and 45 kilometers (28 mi) from Cancún International Airport (CUN). The 257 suites have been carefully designed to have a minimum impact on nature by using local materials and energy-saving systems. All suites offer a balcony or terrace, Mexican mahogany furniture, minibar, satellite TV, electronic concierge assistance, alarm clock radio with iPod docking station, and 300-thread Egyptian cotton sheets. There are suites with one and two bedrooms that have more than one sitting area, two or three baths, plus a dining table and chairs. Guests can explore a natural reserve, enjoy tours through the mangroves, practice snorkeling in the sinkholes, or kayaking along the rivers. The resort features an adult-only pool and a family pool with a shallow area for children, a fitness center, non-motorized water sports, and an activities program. There is a spa-inspired by the Mayan belief that everybody is connected to each other and to nature, with a beauty salon, a temascal, and a hydrotherapy area. The hotel offers conference facilities to accommodate up to 600 guests, WiFi in the lobby, a business center, a tour desk, a car rental agency, a tobacco shop, and a gift shop. Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, Spa & Nature Park has a wide dining offer, including a pizzeria, a French pastry shop, a restaurant serving Mexican gourmet cuisine, restaurants serving Italian and Asian specialties, and five bars, one of which is ideal to enjoy the afternoon tea on the terrace.
